This message is to remind everyone currently in the Washington area of a very important meeting taking place tomorrow, Saturday May 19. The Lafayette Federal Credit Union (LFCU) annual meeting will be held at the Army Navy Club in Arlington, beginning at 1:00 pm. It is particularly important that LFCU members attend this meeting, as this will be the only available opportunity to vote for new board members. Robert ‘Woody’ Navin (USAID) and Louis Emery (Import-Export Bank) are on the ballot, and we urge you to consider voting for them. USAID is LFCU’s largest client base and has never had a member on the board. LFCU only allows in-person voting; therefore you must be present on Saturday to cast your vote for new board members.
