Greetings to everyone! It has been almost a year since we conducted the first AFSA USAID member survey last November.  The participation was tremendous with a 40% response rate. This year we would like to exceed this figure and ask for your cooperation. The results have helped us to tailor the work we do on your behalf as well as to give us a sense of what is important to you. For instance, your responses helped us to communicate your concerns to members of Congress which I believe has resulted in Congressional support for higher staffing and OE levels in the coming years. They have also heard that you consider overseas comparability pay your highest priority and we seem to be making progress with two bills introduced this year for consideration. This year’s survey follows along the lines of last year’s for sake of comparisons but we have also added some new items. I want to personally ask you to take a few minutes to complete the survey and to alert others to do it also. By knowing what you think, we can better represent you. Thanks, Francisco
