Welcome to the online home of the AFSA USAID Vice President - and, by extension, all USAID members. I am happy to take on this new position, and I look forward to the challenge of following in Bill Carter's able footsteps. The number one project for me is to deal with the many concerns of our members and ensure that the Agency is responsive to our needs. I plan to devote much attention to addressing all questions and problems with great effort and interest, and to do so in a transparent manner that allows the membership to follow important developments closely. Previous successes, such as student loan repayment, the Immediate Benefit Plan, and language study for spouses, should serve as blueprints for how to ensure that future issues will also be resolved in our members' favor.
