George Washington is well-known as the first President of the U.S. and the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army. What made him a great leader and what strengths and weaknesses affected his success? Dr. David Arnold is an Associate Professor of National Security Strategy at the National War College. Before joining the faculty in 2013, he did space policy and strategy work in the Pentagon, responsible for developing policy and strategy on space issues related to national, international and commercial topics. He is a career space and missile professional who retired from the Air Force in 2015 as a colonel. He also studies and lectures about George Washington. This event costs $25 and includes lunch.
