In Parliament, she co-chairs the All Party Parliamentary Groups for Foreign Affairs and the Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict. She has served as official Election Leader and Observer in thirty two nations. Previously, she has served as Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party and the parliamentary Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
