Timothy Lenderking is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs in the Near East Bureau at the U.S. Department of State. He previously served as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh from 2013-2016. He also served as Director of the Pakistan Office, Senior Democracy Advisor to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and Policy Advisor to LTG Charles Jacoby, Commanding General of the Multi-National Forces Iraq, at Camp Victory. He has also served in Kuwait, Rabat, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Damascus and as Special Assistant to Under Secretary Grossman, the Lebanon Desk Officer, and a Watch Officer in the Operations Center in Washington, D.C.
