Secretary Rice presents first place certificate to 2007 Essay Contest winner Sumit Malik

"SECRETARY OF STATE CONDOLEEZZA RICE wants to know what you think about THE CHALLENGES FACING THE AMERICAN FOREIGN SERVICE IN THE 21st CENTURY" The winner of this year's contest  is Alicia Constant of Albuquerque, NM.   Alicia's essay was titled "Standing  up for Human Rights; Challenges Facing the U.S. Foreign Service in China." There were 24 honorable mentioned essays.  AFSA wants to thank all the  students who participated in this year's contest.  There were many great  submissions.
