Keith Curtis

Keith Curtis, FCS Vice President and Rebecca Balogh, FCS Representative, welcome you to the FCS AFSA web page.  As you may know, AFSA is a professional association as well as a union, and we rely on our strong member base to advance our interest in both areas. Our AFSA Governing Board term runs from July 2009 to July 2011. Thank you for re-electing us! Our current top priorities are increasing 2010 funding for the entire U.S. Commercial Service, getting locality pay and same-sex partner benefits adopted by CS Management, getting senior pay approvals done in a timely manner, eliminating or changing the seven-year rule, and full staffing of the OFSHR. The FCS faces many challenges and we need your help and communication to help us advance your concerns. Unique to FCS, Keith is the only half-time Vice President among the AFSA Vice Presidents. This situation sometimes makes us choose our priorities carefully; nevertheless, we will strive to be the best voice for your issues to management. Let us know your concerns!

You may contact Keith at Keith.Curtis@mail.doc.gov or Rebecca at Rebecca.Balogh@mail.doc.gov if you have questions or concerns.

Visit the Foreign Commercial Service web page.
