The House Manager/Catering Manager is responsible for the management of the historic c. 1825 DACOR Bacon House and property. Responsibilities include working with contractors and companies to keep the House and it’s furnishings and collections in good condition and in keeping with the regulations from the National Historic Trust; assisting DACOR members, outside parties, and government agencies with private events, including rental of the House and menu selection; work in support of several DACOR committees; coordination with and supervisory responsibilities of kitchen, dining and House staff; and some office management responsibilities.

The position is full time. Superior organizational skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Access is necessary. A Foreign Service background is a plus.
