In September 2000, world leaders committed their nations to achieving eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015.On September 25th, the UN will build upon the MDGs and converge with the post-2015 development agenda by committing to 17 new Sustainable Development Goals to fight against poverty, inequality, and climate change. Learn about what human rights activists have achieved in the past 15 years and what opportunities the new Sustainable Development Goals present.
