AFSA Election - Candidate Town Hall

AFSA members are invited to attend the AFSA election virtual Town Hall meeting, sponsored by the AFSA Committee on Elections. This event has been set up for all AFSA members and will take place via Zoom at 12:00 p.m. EDT Thursday, May 13. Click here to sign up.

The discussion will be moderated by members of the Committee on Elections with the participation of AFSA election staff. Each candidate will present a brief statement and there will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end. Members unable to attend are encouraged to submit questions in advance to election@afsa.org. This is a great opportunity to hear from the candidates running for AFSA’s 2021-2023 Governing Board.  
 
Any write-in candidates who wish to stand for an office for which there are no current candidates are invited to participate as well (i.e., USAID Representative, FAS Vice President, FCS Alternative Representative, FAS Alternative Representative). Please notify the Committee on Elections at election@afsa.org by close of business on Monday May 10, 2021.

All AFSA members who were in good standing as of March 26, 2021 are eligible to vote.
