Description:

In the absence of a viable peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, what should those who believe in peace be doing? What would be a constructive agenda for the United States at a time when the Middle East is in violent upheaval and Israelis and Palestinians are moving further and further apart? Journalist and author, Mr. Alan Elsner is currently the Senior Advisor to the J Street President. He has had a long career at the top ranks of American and international journalism. As a State Department and later White House correspondent for Reuters, he traveled the world with Secretaries of State and was on close terms with presidents and vice presidents. His sharp questioning during the Rwanda genocide forced the U.S. to change its policy and was later highlighted in the movie "Hotel Rwanda." This event costs $25.
