Mr. Thomas Countryman, Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, will discuss the removal of chemical weapons from Syria, May's Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference, and other hot-button topics. Mr. Countryman began his term as Assistant Secretary in 2011. Previously, he worked in European Affairs, Political Military Affairs, Italy, Greece and the U.S. Mission to the UN among other posts.
